Did you know that there is about 8 canceled Fallout games? Since you might not hear for all of them, you can check the article on Vault-Tec inc.'s blog, as we will not talk about canceled Fallout games here. We will talk about one specific game, that not so many of you know, and just a few have played. And it is not Fallout: BoS (PS2 exclusive) either. Still no ring-a-bell?!
We will not talk about any Fallout video game at all, but good old P&P. There was originally a P&P game that was licensed in the Fallout universe, but due to legal complications with Interplay and Bethesda Softworks, Fallout's current copyright holder, the publisher decided to continue working on the game with retaining most of its elements and excluding all references to Fallout. Yes, that is Exodus (role-playing game), published by Glutton Creeper Games using the d20/OGL modern system, but let's face it - almost every Fallout fan has heard of it. What not so many fans know is the good old P&P that came only as part of a bonus CD shipped with pre-ordered copies of Fallout Tactics - Fallout: Warfare.

Fallout: Warfare was developed by Christopher Taylor. It simulates group combat based in the Fallout series universe and uses cut-out models based upon the art of Fallout: Tactics. Fallout: Warfare features several scenarios with special rules; Skirmish (Main game type that features a deathmatch between two opposing sides), Convoy! ( A raider team fights a convoy team), Treasure Hunt! (Two teams, salvagers and raiders, fight over six treasure chests), and Wild America (Both sides fight over a piece of land infested with wild critters).
Fallout: Warfare contains five factions: The Brotherhood of Steel, Mutants, Raiders and Reavers, Beastlords, and Robots, and to play it, you will need Ten-sided dice (D10s), miniatures (comes with the game that you can print, see pictures above), action Tokens (these can be anything, from beads or pennies, for example), an army list (list can be found on the last page of game guide), and a tape measure in inches. Scenery is optional, but highly recommended though.
While you can get the Fallout: Warfare as a bonus content if you purchase Fallout: Tactics from GOG.com, you can still find it here, on No Mutants Allowed site, as Fallout: Warfare is free with permission to copy for personal use only.
