Shadowrun: Hong Kong is already funded about 530% above the minimum funding goal of $100k, which makes this campaign the most successful since Shadowrun Returns. The best thing is - it's all made in the first week, and most likely this campaign will reach (and definitely cross) the ultimate funding goal of $700k by the end of the campaign.
Let us remember that Shadowrun Returns Kickstarter campaign, which was funded almost 460% above the minimum funding goal, was a game made from scratch and Shadowrun: Hong Kong is funding only the various expansions to the game.
Harebrained Schemes originally asked only $100,000 for a minimum goal of Enchanted Player Controls, and that goal was reached in a couple of hours. They have already raised more than five times as much with less than 30 days left, showing how much trust and hope, not to mention money, Shadowrun fans are willing to invest in the upcoming title.
And how wouldn't they when Shadowrun Dragonfall DC was (and still is) a great game, which is noticed by an every-day-growing audience of fans and media. Shadowrun Dragonfall DC was also nominated for various awards in 2014, and here at RPG Gamer, where it was titled as the best Role Playing Game of the Year 2014.
One thing fans of the previous games might be a bit sad to hear is that Shadowrun: Hong Kong won't be coming to Android, unlike the other two. Of course, that's not without good reason, as the developers want to focus on making a greater experience for PC, Mac, and, Linux.

There are three more goals left by now; Expanded magic, Gaichu’s personal side mission and Revamped Matrix: Art and Gameplay, which, in my opinion, will be all funded by Feb 17. If you are new to Shadowrun universe, and you're hooked up to fund this project, I would highly suggest you a pledge of $75, as you will get the best possible solution for newcomers - One copy of Shadowrun Returns, one copy of Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut and TWO COPIES of Shadowrun Hong Kong, and not to mention various digital prizes.
And thanks to you, Is0bel's personal side mission will be included in the game. We really like how her character is shaping up and we can't wait to bring her to you. ~Harebrained Schemes, Kickstarter Update #6
